Customer Feedback

Why Is Light Commercial Vehicle Inspection Training Important?

Light commercial vehicles are vehicles that weigh less than 3.5 tonnes and are typically used in distribution.

Any type of occupational vehicle, including light commercial vehicles like vans and flat-bed trucks, may be stopped and inspected by a police officer or a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency inspector, otherwise known as the DVSA.

If this type of inspection shows that the vehicle is unsafe, then they can issue a prohibition notice to stop the vehicle from being used; fines, or even prosecutions. Fines can be given to both the company operating the vehicle and the driver.

About Light Commercial Vehicle Inspection Training

This light commercial vehicle inspection training course provides users with a thorough understanding of how to conduct such inspections. It explores the necessity to have such inspections, then demonstrates how a user can systematically work their way around and inside a vehicle to identify any faults which will affect the vehicle’s roadworthiness.
