New Online Course: Fraud Prevention Training

Fraud Prevention Training is now available online.

This CPD-certified course equips staff with an understanding of fraud risks and control measures to mitigate them.

Designed for frontline employees, it will help them understand how fraud happens, recognise the warning signs and take the right steps to report concerns and limit losses.

For larger organisations, the course also demonstrates that reasonable steps have been taken to prevent fraud. Evidence of this is needed to avoid liability under the new Failure to Prevent Fraud offence introduced by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

Why Is Fraud Prevention Training Important?

Fraud is the most common and fastest-growing corporate crime in the UK. Every organisation is vulnerable, both from within and outside the business.

Fraud risks are present throughout routine processes across payments, expenses and supply chains. If employees are unaware of the different forms of fraud or their indicators, wrongdoing can go unnoticed and unreported. Over time, even minor incidents can escalate into significant financial losses and legal exposure.

Fraud Prevention Training gives frontline employees the knowledge and confidence to spot red flags early, report concerns correctly and take appropriate steps to reduce risks.
