Falls from height remain the most common fatal work accident. Because of the nature of their work, scaffolders are one of the groups most at risk of suffering a severe or fatal fall.

To reduce these risks, employers must ensure that anyone working at height is trained and competent to do so safely.

This IIRSM-approved training course supports the duty to provide suitable training under the Work at Height Regulations. It helps scaffolders understand the different control measures used to prevent falls and how they should be implemented during work.

The course guides learners through the fall-protection hierarchy, covering collective protections such as safe working platforms, guardrails and ladder access systems, as well as the use of personal fall protection equipment (PFPE).
