New Course: Neurodiversity Awareness Training

We’re pleased to introduce our latest online course: Neurodiversity Awareness Training.

This CPD-certified course helps people understand what neurodiversity is and the adjustments neurodivergent individuals may need at work.

It introduces common neurotypes such as ADHD, autism and dyslexia, and challenges the misconceptions around them. The course also explains relevant duties and rights under the Equality Act 2010, plus what individuals can do to make workplaces fairer and more inclusive.

By building this awareness, you can promote better working relationships and reduce the risk of exclusion or discrimination.

Why Is Neurodiversity Awareness Training Important?

Although every neurodivergent individual is unique, many face familiar barriers at work. These run from simple miscommunication to illegal discrimination.

The consequences are similarly wide-ranging. Without practical adjustments, neurodivergent employees may find collaboration challenging. Productivity may also suffer. In serious cases, employers who fail to act can face legal action under the Equality Act 2010.

The course helps people recognise the challenges neurodivergent individuals may face. Trainees are encouraged to reflect on their own behaviour and manner with neurodivergent colleagues, which helps improve working relationships and reduce the risk of discrimination.
